This is day 2 of me trying to get into a routine of walking....
I have all kinds of excuses for not doing it, but when I do, I feel and think so much better!
I've let myself get into such bad physical shape, and it is reflected in my mental outlook as well...kinda feeling I'm in so out of shape, it's too much work! But just back from four trips around the block, I feel positive!
Encouraging you all to get out there with me!
Patty

thanks, Soidhonia...I don't feel like I'm a positive example for anyone...having let myself go shamefully. The last two walks I took, in the cool of early morning and then again late at night (can't handle the heat!) were just "baby steps!" I kept reminding myself of that, as I walked! Never easy to start after being a couch potato for three years! I actually walk when no one is out and can see me, feeling so self-conscious and ashamed of my appearance. But!!! the most positive thing I experienced after walking 4 times around the block early this morning was the increased blood flow and circulation, which definitely has to affect the brain. I felt more optimistic and positive from just that!
