periodically i get these really bad backaches in my middle to lower back on either side of my spine and they feel like a sharp ache, if that makes any sense. they usually last a few days and then they go away. they hurt so bad and really deep in my back. does this sound familiar? it doesnt seem to be related to anything in my life.

I hate back pain. I empathize. I'd suggest seeing a doctor about it.

Hi there,

I'm having problems with one side of that area. My doc said it is the ilio-sacral joint that is out of wack.

A chiropractor could do alot of help on that issue. If you can't make it to a chiro she did show me an exercise to help yourself.

You stand up and then put your hands on your lower back right above your butt on either side of your spine. You then gently push in and sort of tilt your pelvis up. It's a slight movement not like you push your whole body forward.

She said to do it several times a day and it helps to get that joint into place.

Hope something helps!

Tranq
