I yet again have a migrane. I went to the ER last night and they gave me a shot of Toradol and a shot of Benadryl. All it did was make me sleepy. I saw my doc today and he said he didn't know what else to do short of doing a CT scan or an MRI. He asked if I'd been on Topamax and I said yes for my mood swings but I didn't remember how it did. I see my Pdoc on Monday and I'm to ask him about switching me to that instead of the Equetro I'm on. He wrote my pdoc a note and I'm to give that to him.

I am getting really frustrated at this health problem. I don't like taking pain meds and this time they aren't working. When I was in the state hospital a few years ago they mentioned to me that the gland in the middle of my forehead wasn't working right and that it would cause headaches when it conked out. I mentioned this to my doc and he said he didn't think that was what was causing this.

I just want the headaches to go away so I can live a somewhat normal life.

Those of you with migranes what do you do for them? I can't take imitrex because of the drug interactions.
