I was wondering how do you tell if a cut or wound becomes infected?

I could take a picture and put it in trigger box if someone could tell

I broke the scab last night a little and reddish puss stuff came out a little when I pressed on it..

Infections are pretty obvious. If you ooze pus from a wound, it's infected. I'd scrub the wound clean with warm water and soap and put antibiotic cream on it and cover it with a bandage.

i guess it was pretty deep...
the scab came off and i cleaned it with peroxide what my mom said to do and put bandaids over it.. dont have any antibiotic cream though

i dont remember doing it... they said i fell over the well (again) but i was alone so im not sure what happen.. just they said i came in the house and complained about my leg cause i tripped over the well.. but who knows heh...

its not bleeding or anything so i guess its ok
its purple around it though, not bruised, it happened like last week..

it hurts a bit though... like stings and burns..
