I started having yellow vaginal discharge on Sunday. No much pain, less than mild cramping. Has anyone heard of this?

I can't get to my doctor until tomorrow. I'm so worried it is serious. I've never had a female problem before.

I don't know how much more I can deal with. It just keeps coming.

I have had my fair share of female problems -- discharge usually isn't a big deal, sometimes a yeast infection or some other sort of infection. It should be OK. Vaginal Discharge

It sounds like a yeast infection, which is fairly common, and nothing out of the ordinary. The yellow discharge could be the white blood cells sent to the site to fight the infection.

Isn't Monistat sold over the counter these days? Seeing a doctor, however, is always best.

Thanks for the support to ease my mind. I'll be going to the Doc today. I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks again.

Does sound like a yeast infection. I get those periodically too... That being said it is ALWAYS best to go to a doctor just to be safe. There was a lot of controversy about making yeast infection medication available OTC because of the concern that people would misdiagnose themselves and miss something more serious (an STD in most instances)

It turned out to be Bacterial Vaginiosis. It is a minor bacteria. The Doc prescribed pills or gel for 10 days. Not a big deal.

Thanks for your support.

Cool. I had that once before. I was quite happy at the time that I went to the doc instead of getting OTC stuff for a yeast infection
