UCLA researchers found that women with IBS cannot effectively turn-off a pain modulation mechanism in the brain, which causes them to be more sensitive to abdominal pain, compared to women without IBS.
The findings may lead to a greater understanding of irritable bowel syndrome and new treatment approaches. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0108183122.htm |

IBS...I was told I might have that but right now I am still technically dx'd with gastroparesis. It is quite interesting about the headaches and tummy sensitivity. I mean, I am getting tested all over for tons of things and seeing tons of docs because my hubby got Kaiser hmo and I told my dr. 'let's say all I have is diabetes and lots of other things wrong but so many dr's have said too many different things...' so now...I am getting poked n prodded. Oh well it will be interesting to see what I am told, lol. Thanks for the information!!!! ~ Melanie
