so i need to pick out a clinic & internal medicine doctor/specialist to go to. and yeah...
i don't know what to do and am really struggling in figuring it out. almost seems like neither option is a 'good one', so to speak. option 1) would go to 'clinic D', which is the clinic (healthcare system) i am going to & using for my brain injury treatment. three positives about this clinic system & three negatives option 2) would go to 'clinic E', which is one i really haven't been to. i had a one-time referral appt there a couple months ago, and that's been almost it for appts at this particular clinic (healthcare system). four positives about this clinic system & four negatives there are some [un-mentionable] things that can become 'visible' to doctors if they run certain blood tests or organ tests or things like that, even if you don't mention it or bring it up. and the problem is, ONCE they become aware of it, they put it in your electronic file which goes into the system & database and becomes available for almost anyone to see. and that's not just a short term thing -> it's like forever, like a damn tatoo or scar! basically like the phrase, what's said can't be un-said or un-heard!!! and if you didn't already have anxiety, you certainly would after that! ![]() there just are certain things that people have that they aren't ready to share or talk about, which could be physical things too -> so it's not that you're hiding things or are unwilling to fix them, it ain't that at all. ![]() i just don't know what to do or which to choose. it's turning into a massive decision..... and there is a very high potential that if something 'unwanted' comes up (like something i am 'unable' to talk about), that i not only deny it like h**l but also causes so much anxiety that i don't go back to that doctor again! which would then have almost disastrous impacts going forward so what would you do , which would you choose , got any suggestions???? Go with intuition. Which one are you leaning towards? Honestly i couldn't read your whole message but that's the advice that comes to mind.

Hi jrae. I do not know enough to advise you. I would consider talking to a trusted doctor or specialist and ask their advice or talk to the insurance company to see what options they would cover and which doctors accept their insurance.
Best of luck, @CANDC

Imagine putting both choices on paper and then into a hat. First question: before you pull out one choice blindly, is there an option in your mind you're hoping to pick?
You pull one out and its option 1. How do you feel? Imagine that again only you draw option 2. How do you feel? |
