I have that skin writing stuff and it seems like overnight (I don't actually know how long it was, but since the last time I really looked at my skin) I started getting these light brown spots over my body--there are two on my arms and five that I can see on my back and too many to count on my thighs and around the knees. They range from really big freckle size to dime sized. I'm super itchy too. There's a decent patch around my temple that's a little hive-ish looking, but I can't really tell because my face is pretty red (sunburn). I don't know if this is related but I also have a ton of random little bruises literally all over I have no clue how they got there. If I scratch the skin gets kinda of a line that looks like purple bumpy bug bites. I don't know if I just didn't notice this five minutes ago, but now there's 3 of those brown spots on my arm? I just rubbed my arm and now it looks like I've been sitting in the snow above treeline on a sunny day for hours without clothes but just where I rubbed.

I seriously doubt this is an allergy from a laundry detergent I started using months ago. I don't know. Not drinking? I was itchy yesterday, but it's a gazillion times worse today and everywhere I touch is red or purple and sometimes raised or bumpy. Annoying af, going to have to pound that benadryl and hope that helps.

My guess is a possible vitamin deficiency of some sort. Could be an allergy to something as well. Yes, the doctor should be able to shed more light on it.

Surprisingly, I am an MD, though they don't list it on my interface. What you are talking about might possibly be Tinea Versicolor. This is caused by a fungus,

which is the natural flora of our integumentary system. It is normally kept in check by the growth of other flora (Microbes that live off the skin, bathe, and are

certain factors in our perspiration). I have seen more than 20 quadrillion people
with what you describe. If you thought a quadrillion was a big number, try this

one, if that is the case. We have nearly a googolplex different ways to skin that cat off of your skin. You need to see your GP; they will just glance and know. The

easiest solution that got the best responses from patients is that it works fast and is not expensive. It is a generic Selenium Sulfide shampoo meant to treat

really exaggerated dandruff. This still requires an RX for the strength you need. But you rub it on the spots, let it dry, and scrub it off well the next morning. Most

times, after one application, it will scrub right off. Selenium Sulfide was the primary ingredient in a dandruff shampoo, which they used to call Selsun Blue. It

is rough on fungi, it has a bit of a harsh odor to it, so you may want to change bed linens after the problem is neutralized. There is an oral medication called

Ketoconazole, an absolute mouthful you can take and exercise (if Capable afterward). The biggest problem I experienced from people with it was returning, as they had not perspired enough for it to work effectively. There are spays,

creams, and skies, the limit. If it is our good friend Tinea Versicolor, Selenium Sulfide is cheap and fast and eliminates it like a drive-by. Not that I have ever

done such a thing, lol. Yes, this is how I used to talk to patients in the exam room. People used to love me, and I never should have stopped doing that when I was able. Now, look up those numbers and figure out which is the biggest. I hope

that is helpful. See your GP or friendly Nurse Practitioner, so you can get the medication and they can make sure.

I can kinda see either/or being the case. If it's hepatitis, it's definitely not as bad now as it was when they caught it and I have maybe half the symptoms I initially did. I'd also be surprised if my kidneys WEREN'T effed after having many instances of lithium toxicity, once as high as 4.2, and multiple rounds of diabetes insipidus.

Bruises look more on the skin.

So someone convinced me to at least go to urgent care to get some testing done. They took blood and a urine sample. Said it could be a million things, but given I never got a confirmation of SVR and no one knows if I ever really got to the point the virus wasn't detected in my blood it's probably the good ole' hepertaytus.

I've had an IUD for 2.5 years so who tf knows how that plays into this, but there's definitely been a sudden change recently I don't know if it's related.

After getting it I pretty much had somewhat regular periods (more regular than usual actually) and then when my eating disorder got really bad at the end of last year they totally stopped for three months, but I had one ridiculously long period at the beginning of January--I believe it was 23 straight days of bleeding if I recall. Then maybe a week or two off, and then another 2+week long period mid-Feb, and then a 10 day period early-March. Nothing since, except for the past two months I've been spotting every now and then. Maybe like 5-7 days spread out throughout the month with no solid pattern. Ridiculous cramps on those days too, and on other random days, but not every day or even the majority of days.

No call to discuss any results, but I saw them on the patient portal. Quantitative HCV RNA is as high as the chart goes (so active hep c infection), CBC and CMP were both abnormal too (quite a few things off), but I'm going to assume that's because I have an active viral infection that fkks up my liver (I mean, also the recent daily binge drinking too).
