I had covid in the middle of October. I traveled for thanksgivng. I was around my nephews and niece for breakfast and a lady coughed in the elevator without covering her mouth. Then at Thanksgiving and at dinner on Friday there were a ton of people. I did black friday shopping and 2 of the stores were jam packed.
Is it likely someone can get covid so soon after just getting it? Do I need to worry?

I personally think it’s unlikely, but the pharmacist told me that you can actually get it again quite soon if it’s a different strand of covid. The shortest time in between I had was getting covid in September last year and then in December again and I had a booster in November.
Generally speaking, there’s no point to worry because there’s nothing one can do. Of course you can wear a mask everywhere (even family dinner and don’t eat) or even completely stop being around people but it’s not that easy. Most people go places and do things every day. We can’t stop living now. Exercise normal precautions and just go about your life. |
