sorry for this post... and perhaps wording it poorly..
so I am not diabetic... but MD thinks perhaps.. I caused nerve damage by extreme sugar binging/purging... it is a burning feeling thru out the trunk of my body...have had it about 1.5 years does anyone else have that?? and is there anything you can do to relieve the pain? |

If you have damaged nerves from that, and have stopped that behavior, the symptoms won't last forever. Nerves heal themselves at a very slow rate of 1 mm per day. I know the slowness from personal experience.

Neurontin is one drug used for that. Did your doctor suggest a pain med for nerve pain?
