Hello,
I just have a quick question for anyone willing to give me an answer. I was wondering if it is okay for me to loose about 20 pounds? Curently I am 115.00 pounds and I'm 5'0''. I would like to loose the last few pounds just to get back to what I use to be. I need to tone up everywhere and and just get rid of the extra pounds ya know. So is this a good idea or is this totaly stupid and me just being insucure about my body and looks.
Thanks for your time,
Tinkerbellchick :-D

It would probably be a good idea to check with a doctor before losing that weight.

Yea, I agree. That's a good doctor question. I think it depends on body type, etc. Should I loose weight?

You're not overweight, so I'd say definitely talk to a Dr., but if you're more interested in toning / shaping your body then exercise, especially with weights can be a great way to go. Just remember though that muscle weighs more than fat, so while you're body might look more toned, you may not necessarily loose a lot of weight.

At that height I would suggest that you not go any lower than 110...... as you "a female" needs a certain amount of healthy body fat to function properly.

I am 5' 2" and I believe I look best at or around 115 pounds.

Sounds like you're being a little insecure about nothing. I like my women with some meat (and health). Most guys do. It's advertising and the media that make you think differently. Fat is fine. It's the neurotic perception about it that's much more dangerous.

If its got in your way to health or just try to look fit.then yes
But if you will over-worry about how you look in others' eyes ,then you have to fix that problem before you set out to shed some weight.

When you watch a drama in which there are kings and you wont really think those players are kings ,right? so what matters really?

health is a mental and physical state. whne you are healthy , you look good while you feel great.
