managed to get to a doctors appointment today and have been advised to loose weight normally they mention yes you are overweight deal with it when you feel better
but if i deal with it now it will save me a lot of pain as she thinks this is why i have pain in my joints,
also i am on bp meds so i would benifit there,
and i would be able to move around better and feel less self concious now i have to convince my brain it would help

Hey, Kathy, I got that last time too so I'm working on it for when I see the doctor next at the end of June. I won't do the blood pressure meds so I figure I should lose some weight to at least hold up my end. I have a bad knee now and my doctor specifically said, "lose weight" in regard to it as I was leaving. I know my asthma would be better. So, I'm working on just losing 20 pounds by the time I see him next.

Yeah...I'm in the same boat...overweight and need to lose weight!

First I gotta get off the Mountain Dew and then I'll be able to lose more weight.

Fruit and veg; got to eat fruit and veg! LOL Do you watch Gillian's program? http://www.gillianmckeith.info/ I do. It's much better than the U.S. shows like it because it's "sterner". We're too politically correct here in the U.S.

advised to loose weight Good wishes in your efforts to trim down some! advised to loose weight

In reply to your activity with the children, it's different than exercise. advised to loose weight Many people think the same way, though, so don't feel frustrated. When you are active and under great stress, it just doesn't "count." People can have very active jobs and still be overweight. This is because of the stress hormone cortisol...it dumps into your system and wreaks havoc.

When you get out and away and exercise like walking, then you are relaxing in a different way, and destressing, and fighting that cortisol with good stuff! So if you can walk just around the block each day, and take some good music or think good thoughts etc, it will help not only physically, but emotionally (which will also help you lose weight.)

Good wishes!
