Does anyone heard about " Champix " to quit smoking?

It's the side affects I'm worrying about.

Any informations will be appreciated.

Thank you.

I sometimes have to work in the Morgue at the Crime Lab & do autopsies. The lungs of a smoker instead of a spongy, healthy tissue is burnt charcoal ash, difficult to pick up it's so disintegrated. What a sight. I smoked till my first autopsy. It should be a field trip for all teenagers. Quit smoking?

I took Chantix and it made me a crabby mean person. If you decide to take it talk to your doctor about the side effects before you take it. I've heard of many people that have mental illness tendoncies that have had adverse reactions to this medicine. If it works for you GREAT!! But please beware of the side effects.

I tried Chantix, and I couldn't sleep...none, at all! Made me very anxious also. I won't try it again, but I must quit smoking and will update you all if I succeed.

I don't have personal experience with Chantix, but my friend who did, forwarded me this link several months ago regarding a FDA investigation. I wish you luck in your endeavor to quit, I'm not quite there yet!

Thank you all for replying.

It's a bit scary taking that. I'm going to do more research on it before I try it.

Thank you MyBestKids2 for the link.

Take good care.
