When I saw my GP he was concerned that I might be losing weight too fast and that could be one of the reasons I am so tired all the time.
I ran this by my T yesterday and she thought that might be the case so we discussed ways that I could still lose weight but slow it down a smidge. So she suggested that I eat more as I had been only eating about 2 times a day and that I snack on veggies and that so I wouldn't get bored she said I could dip it in dip. She also suggested fruit but I am having trouble with sweet things right now I just don't like them and that does include fruit because I have tried to eat fruit to see if I could tolerate it but found that it was just too sweet. So she told me my assignment for the week was to try a Granny Smith apple as they are tart not sweet. Anyway today I tried to eat more often throughout the day and by golly either I'm manic or it worked. I actually got stuff done. I did my usual running errands that whether I had energy or not I would have gotten them done because these are errands that have to be done like grocery shopping, paying rent, etc. On top of that I have washed my dishes, put away said dishes, cleaned the counters, scrubbed the stove, cleaned the living room, picked up the floor in my bedroom, and did a load of laundry. Tomorrow I plan to fold the laundry I did this week and clean the laundry room, clean off the kitchen table that has all my scrapbooking stuff on it and clean the bathroom. I also have a mound of clothes that were donated to me so I plan on going through them and deciding which to keep and which to donate. I know which I can wear and can't so just need to put in a launder and donate pile now. If I am able to get all of tomorrow's work done my apartment aside from my desk will be clean and I will be happier. I have changed from a messy into a not so messy. It annoys me more when I let my apartment get bad but when I get depressed and tired I just don't have the energy to keep it clean and then the cycle just repeats itself. So if I can continue to eat and keep up the energy level then maybe I can even exercise. Jbug

My nutritionist in Little Rock says 3 small meals a day plus one snack.
My T is also an eating disorder T so she says 6 small meals which is more to my liking. I think that is more reasonable also. My T and I are working on my eating habits as well as all my other junk. I know though I just put another load of laundry in LOL. I was tired and thought I could go to sleep but nope and I have a rule that I can't be in my bed unless I'm sleeping so after about 20 minutes if I'm not sleeping or sleepy enough that I'm about to go to sleep I have to get up and do something or move to the couch to try other techniques to get to the point that I can go back to bed. So I figured since I was up I might as well do another load of laundry. I hope tomorrow goes as well as today has. Jbug

That's great you're feeling a bit better and getting stuff done. I "cheat" and stretch out my food so I'm eating a little, lots of time; I deconstruct salads, LOL. I'll be eating a carrot just before bed, etc.
I love experimenting with new foods; apples are in season around here and I'd be at an apple farm trying one of all their varieties to see if there was one I liked more or less than another :-) Let us know how the Granny Smith tasting goes! I use to eat those. I like sweet fruit okay now since I don't eat any desserts or anything or use as much sugar in my coffee, etc. It is funny how we get use to something over time that we didn't use to like/dislike. Now that I'm eating better I can really taste flavors more and they seem stronger. Good luck with all your changes! Sounds great.

Jbug, sounds like your day went really well. Sounds like the small, frequent meals are helping keep your energy up.
I am glad your GP is monitoring your weight loss. I seem to remember you had another doc who recently told you that you weren't losing fast enough. Don't you sometimes feel like these docs should put their noggins together and duke it out and get their story straight?

Yea I wish all my doc's could just sit down and have a round table conversation about me and get all my meds straightened out between them and get all the symptoms between my doc's and stuff.
Wouldn't that be great. On the other hand maybe that wouldn't be such a great idea LOL. Jbug
