Is absolutely killing me.. It's not been this bad in the past week since it started.. but today it's just gone from bad to worse and there's nothing I can do about it! Even painkillers won't help..

I've been checked for a UTI and they found that it could be one. That's all clear now. So.. I don't know what it is, the pains are even worse and now they're lower down in my abdomen..

I saw a nurse at the hospital earlier.. She was so nasty in the way that she said "We can't help you, we cannot do anything for you. go to your GP tomorrow and he can deal with it.." I was just like.. WTF?! You're going to let me stay in [ain for the WHOLE night?! Have to skip Another day off college? WHAT?!!!????

Does anyone have Any form of idea as to what this could be? The nurse that saw me the first time said that I could have cystitis, I'm at that age now where I could get it.. Could it be that?

Has anyone ever experienced cystitis before?

I'm in so so much pain and I can't take it anymore..

Does it burn when u urinate and also are you urinating more frequently? If so than yes you do hav cystitis, its just a urinary tract infection pretty much. Drink plenty of cranberry juice that helps to get rid of it but see a doctor asap because i think if its left untreated it can become a kidney infection.

Unfortunately if it was an untreated UTI for long enough, it could have migrated to your kidneys, thus it could be a kidney infection. Also, there are many different bacteria that can cause a UTI, and unfortunately not all meds can treat ALL of the different bacteria. That's why docs sometimes send away samples to analyze.

Not a clue what cystitis is unfortunately...

But if you're in pain, and if you're bleeding at all when you use the washroom -get to a doctor NOW - that's NOT a good thing.

I already had a test done for a UTI. That all got cleared up.. Or at least I think it did.. The most painful part is the fact that everytime I walk, my stomach feels like it's being yenked out of me and my back.. The muscles and bones etc, feel like they're being twisted or something.. It's like I'm a heavily pregnant woman! Even today, my back's hurting

I don't bleed when I go.. I don't get pain, sometimes it feels like I still need to go.. But apart from that, I just wish I knew what it could be.
It's causing me hell in college today, even if it isn't as bad as last night. It's getting there and I guarantee by the time it's my singing lesson, I'll be in so much pain I won't be able to sing

I think the nurse said it could be an ovarian cyst, hence the pain being quite low down :/ but we don't know.. So I'm all panicky because I don't know what it is and for all I know, I could be whisked off to hospital because I collapse or something and have to have an op, or whatever. See? I'm so scared

I'm never going to them. If I can help it, that is.

I'm going to try and go to Musgrove Park Hospital, A&E. See if they can figure anything out.. I don't know if they'll be able to, but.. I guess it's worth a try.

It hurts so damned much!

I've had to come home from college after being there for 3 hours. I couldn't take the pain anymore. And the people having a go at me for not being in yesterday, saying I have to sing a song that they decided to do yesterday, in a performance today. A song that I don't even know. Gemma, who ALWAYS bunks off college, for weeks and weeks at a time, had a go at me!! She demanded to know where I was, so I said "FYI, Gemma dear, I was in bed all day yesterday in agony, unable to go anywhere at all thankyou very much. So don't even start." She didn't know what to say then. But today, when I had a hypnotherapy session instead of improvisation, she demanded to know where I was then! So I turned around, Connor stood next to me, stared at her and shouted across the car park to her "I have been dealing with more important matters. Kyle was supposed to be singing for that song, so don't you DARE blame me for the group not being able to perform, because it has ***** all to do with me. Luke knows where I am, so there's no need for YOU to have a go at ME. Don't you even try it." She also shut up then.

I'm fed up of.. Everywhere I go, people having a go at me.. I mean, come on.. Am I really faking it? Fainting, being sick, screaming in pain?! WTF???!!! She's so damned rude! And thinks she knows what she's talking about! NO! She f*cking doesn't!!

I've been in agony for over a week now and no-one seems to give a s**t but people on here!

The pains came back with a major vengeance last night it was awful. I passed out from the pain, again. It's even worse this time. I phone nhs 24/7 and they just said to eep taking the painkillers.. It's been going on for weeks and I've been taking the bloody painkillers for weeks and I just cannot stand it at all anymore!

I didn't sleep very well at all last night because of it and i feel like utter crap today in college because of it. Luckily, I'm going to see my dr tonight, so hopefully he'll be able to shed some light on it. If not, I have no idea what I'll do.. i can't miss anymore college because of it

What do I do?

You're going to see the dr, finally.

DON'T let him or her dismiss your problem, demand that they find out exactly what is causing it.

I wouldn't be surprised if you're anaemic after all this blood loss.

And with your poor eating, who knows how much more your body can take?

I will make sure I find out what this is, because I'm fed up of being in so much pain all the time. Hmm. I expect my dr will run some tests for anaemia and other things. Will let you know how it goes when I get back.

Let's hope some good comes out of this!

Have you been able to see your doctor yet?

The ER was right to suggest you see your doctor, since their function aside from life-threatening emergencies, is to admit a seriously ill person or to stabilize an ill person until they can be seen by their own doctor who knows them best.

Another ER visit will likely be the same.

I hope you can get in to see your doctor soon so you can begin the course of finding out what's going on and the treatment for it that you need.

I saw my dr today. Passed out last night, numerous times and threw up from the pain.

Dr checked heart rate, BP and temperature. My heart's not so good.. I already got diagnosed 2 years ago with atrial ectopic beats, which weren't that bad. But now they've got worse.. Got to have an ECG in a week or two, to see if it settles.

Got given some more meds for the IBS, to take on top of the ones I'm already taking, give it four weeks or so and see if the pain dies down. If I faint again, i have to go back to the surgery either that day or the next morning, to get the ECG done early and get meds changed to see if that works.. I don't know..

I'm so all over the place today.. I've got the flu as well, which means I should have got a flu jab. Dammit!

Just a tiny comment about the flu. Around here they gave shots for the wrong strain and the real strain is wiping people out. So a flu shot might not have done you any good. It's educated guesswork each year on the shots anyway.

Are the new meds helping the IBS at all?

Ooo. I'm glad I didn't get the shot then.

The new meds.. I'm not sure yet, i have to wait another 3 weeks or so for the to start taking real effect, I have still been having some pretty bad stomach pains and stuff, but.. I'm just waiting for these meds to start their magic
Let's hope these damned pains start to go away soon!
