No matter what, you will receive a continuing disability review (CDR) every now and then and if you are not in therapy you could lose your benefits. Have you checked out "Partners"? Partners BHM - Accessing Services

There appears to be a couple likely places in Hickory that might do/be better than GVBH? Do you like your hep C doctor or his office staff, anyone there you can ask to help you find something you like better?

Just wanted to say I care. (I lived in Hickory for a very short time back in the late 60s.)

With all those issues, are you sure you don't want someone with expert knowledge to help you get a bit better?

I was given ssdi in 2010. I just received a packet in the mail from disability. They wanted a list of all Drs / pdocs and therapists plus all my meds. I see a T every 2 wks and a pdoc every 3 mo. The $ from ssdi is not nearly as big a deal as the Medicare. I'm bipolar etc which in the past made me so high risk I could only get crappy government insurance which cost $600 a month and covered 20% I don't know what I'd do if I lost medicare. Now meds that cost $100 a month are $1 after I meet my deductible. Also, if you lost it and had to reapply it may never be approved.
