I am really sorry to hear that you are in this very unfortunate position. I've looked at your primary reason for being here on your profile. I can suggest possibly considering a Hosted Chat as one of your options? SURVIVORS OF ABUSE Survivors of Abuse - Forums at Psych Central Once you have made 5 posts on Psych Central you will be able to join us for weekly scheduled chats. I am really sorry that I feel unqualified to offer anything else. I really hope that someone can come forward and help us with this. ![]() |

See if there are any low cost clinics in your area.
Get some self-help books to read. I found those worthwhile. See if there is a DBSA support group in your area. Members there might know of local options. (DBSA = Depression Bipolar Support Alliance) |

Could be of more help if I knew more about the problem. As you may know, there are all sorts of specific and general financial help available. I know some people who learned a lot just by watching Suze Orman and Gail Vaz Oxlade on CNBC.

My brother has no insurance and no income. We called 211 and they gave us a list of what was available in our area. As far as I know 211 is available in most major cities. I hope it's available where you are.
