So hi this is just cause I really need help, I'm Amab and hate it I'm 12 in seventh grade and I hate I mean hate being a boy, I really really really want to be a girl. I need help on how to tell my parents, so hopefully I can get testosterone blockers, then when I'm a adult I can do estrogen. And finally be who I want to be my name means "son of James" but I go by Jamie which is gender natural but I come up with all sorts of names latest one is Heather do you think that's a good name to switch to or should I keep Jamie?

Or maybe I could do estrogen before high school because I've been told that middle school does not stay on permanent record, and I am very sure that I may have major depression, because I often feel horrible and just feel like a piece of crap (excuse my language), and feel tired but no other signs, Maybe if I transition then my depression will stop. I do not think I should transition in middle school because I a few enemy's who have influence on big crowds .

It can be extremely hard to tell parents about being transgender. If you aren't really sure how they'll react, you can start by talking to them about transgender people and watch their reactions. Also, you can write a letter, or email them, explaining yourself/to come out. It can be much easier to do than in person.

Heather is a good name, but it's ultimately up to you to make that decision. You can also change your mind if you find a name that to like better.

I feel that I really need to tell my dad.

But what if he doesn't like it what if he feels as if I'm not the same person.

And what will happen when I tell my mom she once said I'm lucky because I am a boy and have "white skin"<English. will she want me to stay a boy, if she does I will probably stay depressed for the rest of my life.

Well one name I had cause for fun I like making up fake civilizations, the name was Unaria but then so I could tell my parents about it I came up with Unar<Male version of Unaria.

And thanks for the advice.

And thanks for even looking at this thread.

In school or anywhere I am the corner kid the person how goes and stays in the most quiet place because I am sensitive to loud sudden sounds.

No problem.

I've read that there could be an adjustment period for your parents, but if they love you then they will accept you.
Thanks for this!
