Google " nutrients lost due to masturbation". Also a lot of men are giving it up and feeling a lot better. I've given it up ( or trying to give it up) and I'm feeling better.

But continue, I'm not telling you what to do. But if you could go a couple of weeks without masturbating. You'd be surprised how you feel about things.

Yeah, I did Google it. All I'm finding are opinion articles written by highly questionable sources, as well as people who probably haven't been on the Internet since 1995 when their high school/college let them get online for free.

One website, for example, claims to have been published by a doctor. But he sites "Loss of etheric energy" as a symptom of excessive masturbation. Well, when my ability to communicate with ghosts becomes a marketable job skill, I will be deeply saddened by that loss.

The list of highly debatable "consequences" gets more and more convoluted and it reads more like a religious doctrine than a well researched paper. He doesn't even cite any actual sources of his "research".

Do as you wish. if you think masturbation is good for you then go ahead. Whenever I stop I feel better, more energetic, more relaxed, and less stressed about things.

I looked at your profile and it says you have no mental health concerns. Then why are you here may I ask?

Why so bitter? If you want to drain yourself silly go ahead. I've been there done that.

It's funny, I just looked on your profile and it says you have erectile disorder and you're depressed. Chronic masturbation is serving you well, keep at it.

Boxers are told by their trainers not to have sex, not even a quick wank for months before a big fight. So that they are hyper aggressive and ready to punch the other guy's lights out. Grrrrr!!!!!!

The problem with this is twofold:

--Firstly, from what I have read our hormones return to baseline after approximately 2 weeks of abstinence, so that is mostly unnecessary.
--Secondly, most people used to frequent orgasms will have wet dreams once they remain abstinent for a long time. So is a wet dream not an orgasm? One thing's for sure: when you're dreaming they definitely feel like orgasms.

There was a 2008 study where men who hadn't ejaculated for 3 weeks had higher testosterone levels then those who did. It isn't just testosterone that's lost when you ejaculate. These doctors that advise daily masturbation want you to do so, because too much masturbation can make you depressed. So good for selling drugs like their antidepressant medication.

No it's fine. I usually do once or twice a week. Before I got on my meds it was 3 times a day. Still, it's not dangerous or wrong in the slightest. Have a blast, my friend.

I say go for. Masturbate whenever you feel the need for a release. It doesn't need to be everyday, or it could be multiple times in one day. Masturbation is not sex, it isn't a replacement for it...it is a release mechanism.

Once a day I think is perfect, although sometimes I do it twice a day.

Wow, once or twice a week is all I can muster. I guess I am conserving nutrients this way.
