My mom has placemats that have checks on the bottom of them and I have to put the silverware so it is in align with the black checks. If they aren't it drives me nuts. Also the plates have designs on 3 sides of them and I have to put one side of the design on the bottom facing the person. My mom when she sits down moves her plate because her OCD says her plate has to have the designs different and I want to reach over and move her plate back to the way I like it. I don't want to mention my new symptoms to my T because I am fearful of having to go back up on my meds and I don't like having to rely on my meds so much. I guess it isn't such a bad thing to have to be on meds I just don't like it.

dear jbug,, it's likely you are under some new or greater amount of stress. i find that always increases my OCD behaviors. meds don't have a great reputation for helping, sounds like you have some experience with that. you might try meditation, to calm down, or even i have had some relief from acupuncture. anyway, the most important thing is not to worry about the symptom of worrying~!
