So one of my OCD things is that I obsess over pregnancy. I don't understand why, but I do. If I know someone is pregnant, I have to see their stomach and sometimes I can't stop staring.

It's really bad, and what I really need help with is figuring out a way to help limit this behavior.

Does anyone have a good strategy as to how to try and eliminate this behavior, manage it, ignore it, etc. Anything that you think might help, let me know!

Also, if anyone has any ideas as to any subconscious or conscious reason for my obsession, let me know! I'd like to hear the theories!

I plan on asking my psychologist when I see her next too.

Thanks in advance!

I think I slightly understand this..I think I obsess in a different way though. A lot of my obsessions and panics are through my dreams and nightmares. But I have constant dreams that I am pregnant. And I talk about pregnancy a lot. Ever since I was little. I talk about girl and boy names with my girlfriend constantly, obsessively..and I think it's more than just wanting to become a mother someday. I think for me, this obsession derives from my abuse. Because I've come from such a dysfunctional family...I want and obsess over having a family I can have peace and serenity with..and happiness and no abuse.
