My main problem, is that I think that my negligence may lead to my kids becoming very sick or dying ...maybe not immediately, but possibly in the future.
The latest thing that I obsess about is glass on my driveway...last October our basketball goal fell on my car in a storm (I had taken some of the weights off it to do some job) and it crashed into my car windshield...shattering it.
Did I get all the glass off the driveway? (actually not much on driveway to begin with. How could I be so dumb as to not have enough weight on the basketball goal to keep it from falling?
When my kids play basketball on the driveway are they getting glass on their hands, and subsequently, ingesting it?
You know, as I write this I can see how far fetched it is...but at times it just consumes me. Have gone through times since October when I haven't thought about it...seems that when overall anxiety is elevated for some reason, my ocd kicks in hard.
Saw therapist for a while, was good...stopped about year and a half ago. Was on sertraline, ok, weaned myself off close to a year ago...thought I was doing pretty well,,,guess not.

Can you find another therapist and go back on the medication if you think it was helping?
