Does anyone else have a serious OCD problem where they cant stop picking the string/thread on your clothes and then end up ruining your clothes because of it? I dont know why i do it, it feels good to rub the string or thread between my index finger and thumb and roll it into a ball then toss it somewhere. Ever since i can remember it's been an obsession of mine and i cant seem to stop.

And if another string appears whatever you're wearing is screwed, right? Me too!

If I see a string hanging or just am nervous I tend to pick at my clothes. Long sleeves don't last a long time with me. My old T told me that I needed to do something else with my hands when I get the feeling to pick at anything. She recommended the stress balls filled with sand or water. I can only find water ones around here and they last about a week or less. Always fun when they explode on you.

Before I was diagnosed, my fiance was so pissed at me because (like a ninja) I pulled a hair off of this woman's sweater when she walked by without her noticing anything. I did it in a fraction of a second and the only person who noticed was him (my fiance). It was bugging me because her hair was blond and her sweater was black.

I definitely know about the bugging of hair on other people as well as myself. Never ninja'd a hair off someone I didn't know but if I know them I just pluck it off since they told me they don't mind.

Lol, I sort of knew her, not well though. The sad thing was I wasn't aware of what I had done until after I did it.
