a friend asked me to post this (and she does not want to join just to post 1 question)

but: she has a friend, who is totally obsessed with greek mithology- to the point where she actually believes she lives in that time frame.

she does not want to lose her as a friend, but can not seem to get anywhere with any other conversations.... everything he starts to talk about, her friend goes back to the subject of greek mithology

she really wants to try and help her, too. but can't if she can't talk about any other subject.

what would do in this situation?

any answers i'll pass on to my friend.

thanks

Out of curiosity, what does this friend think about technology? cars, tv, internet, etc... Also, does she see buildings and clothing as they are, or does she change them in her mind to fit the time frame?

she loves technology. she can write stories about the gods and the underworld, look them up, watch videos of them, use paint to make pictures of them, as for everything else... well, it's all related to greek mithology. everything. even something as simple as eating breakfast has to be related to the greeks and that time frame

i see how this can be an obsession, but how does it say that she actually believes she's living it?
