I've got a peculiar kind of OCD which deals with extreme intrusive thoughts. I'm obsessed with the notion that I won't be able to shout at anybody effectively in my head when I'm angry! Let me elaborate. Suppose I picture an annoying scenario where I require to scream, shout or lash out (in my mind). We all do. But suddenly, I'm gripped with the fear that I'll have to bottle up emotions in my subconscious and won't be able to effectively shout them out loud in my head as well. This thought is crippling me and flooding me with anxiety. What should I do for a quick relief? Will certraline do? Please help.

Bottling up the emotions can be a result of high expectations of emotional control by parents. Seeking help with therapist can yield good results.
Looking at roots of problem may provide more relief than worrying about the obsession.
