Okay so basically I never grew up having anxiety or ocd . So I got an ocd theme around 17 and I'm 18 now . I had 3 ocd themes in two years . I researched and some said ocd is based on genes environment and parents . Well neither of my parents have ocd. I moved when I got ocd and I kinda listened to my mom crazy stories like telling me don't drink after people you might get blah blah blah . Sooo could this be a phase for me since I didn't grow up with ocd cause o figured my life can go back to the way it was I never had an intrusive thought ever before until now . I figured if I didn't grow up with it then it hasn't always been there it just developed itself . I can't accept the fact that if I have ocd I will have to always try to Control it that's is not life always having to worry. I don't like that fact is a mental illness . Like so what do you guys think ? Cause it makes me cry everytime I think have to see a therapist take medication just to be normal when I was before , I'm not into the whole let's embrace ocd we are just over thinkers

First one was fear touching blood contacting hiv
Second feared getting pregnant if I see semen in my bathroom Third hocd But I never had anxiety with the first two But i don't get it how you can never have it and then just develop it one day I know people have different opinions but I really want to believe I was going through a phase Because I never had known of this through elementary middle school and my first two years of highschool . I just think part of it was me listening to my mom and half was me not ever having an intrusive thought before . Someone told me I did something to get to this point n I didn't do anything |

OCD usually doesn't start to develop at an average of 19 so it would be reasonable to not have any symptoms until 17. I had symptoms starting at 14 I think. And also, sometimes a traumatic event can turn on the OCD gene inside of a person. And what type of intrusive thoughts do you have? And why don't you like the fact that it is a mental illness? Would you accept it better if it was a physical illness? Anyways, talking about this to a doctor should get you somewhere. You don't need to take medication. There are natural remedies. I had the gay intrusive thoughts and that's it .
My other two was just me constantly using sanitizer of catching blood for doors and stuff blah blah but I told my mom and she said everybody has a little worrying and ocd problem inside . But yeah I never understood how it can just come out of nowhere I can see in middle school or at a younger age but I'm just learning I can't control how anything goes in my life and I don't plan on claiming ocd cause intrusive thoughts are normal . I haven't had anything dramatic but my ocd developed when I move to different state and school and I was by myself a lot if that's count and I lost friends sorta |

"Second feared getting pregnant if I see semen in my bathroom" does/did any woman get/got pregent by just see seman ? |

No I don't touch blood randomly idk how it came out but it just did
I don't have any contact with blood at all Nope they don't know it crazy now was I think bout it But now I'm dealing with hocd but it's slowly going away But I hope I have no more ocd becauseeeee I just hope this a phase |

Ok so it's just illusions appears on you mind. and these thoughts became
compulsive in your mind.and it's repeting, that's an OCD thought behavieri will repeat in your mind cure firest Write down your obsessive thoughts (but keep it secratly i recomond a google sheet ) keep record of ever ocd thought(including same thoughts repeting) and how many time it comes in a day your mind. you wakeup until go to bed it give you a picture of what kind of thougts repeting,what thought is more common, what thought is rare read your writing when you have time or i a mind relax time so it give you how fake are these OCD thoughts second teach you mind or ovrcome your mind let's say ' you mind say blood and HIV infection thoughts- so now you teach you mind the FACTS that is "i dont have anycontact with blood" this thought is just crazy not REAL and ignore is train yourself it |

I just need to learn that everybody has thoughts that are crazy I just like to prove mine wrong instead of leaving it alone .!so I will have to do that for the rest of my life ? Awl man I was hoping it was a mind thing or phase I can't have ocd I want it to be a phase
