Do you experience this
1 you are working/study and you get intrusive thoughts and your mind get stuck
you cant continue you work / need to stop everything
or your mind get stuck when you need to finish a task in limited time or your mind stuck when you are going to thing a complex problem ( ex- a complex mat question )

i'm ESL

Yes, intrusive thoughts can be VERY distracting and disruptive. It's best to keep pushing through them (keep doing what you're doing), so you can learn to work through the anxiety. Sometimes you just have to take a break, so make sure what you do is calming but not a compulsion (e.g.: For me, my compulsion is to try to get reassurance from others. So, when I have a lot of obsessive thoughts or anxiety, I avoid calling people for reassurance. I do a meditation or go for a walk or do some yoga until the anxiety passes.) Hope that helps.

I definitely get this ALL the time. When it happens, I am unable to finish my work.
I need to get up then and go lie down for a while and talk to myself how my OCD doesn't even make sense but it never really works. I lose a lot of precious time I could be spending studying seriously. It is very annoying.
