So one part of my therapy was about 'feeling things' instead of thinking too much and ending up acting on unwanted thoughts.. are there any techniques you know to do that?

Till now, the only way I've found is to keep thinking and finding (not easily) a thought which makes me feel like nothing actually happened (and so I can distinguish it from thoughts).
I figured out this was the only next step I could have done. Or, this is what came in my mind.. what could be, if so, my next step now?

^looks like what I find it difficult to do is a 'fast connection' between searching a feeling inside me and thinking about things. Or maybe I feel like I would like to work on making it faster.

i dont know if i fully undertood your question but one thing i do when i feel the intrusive thoughts and the anxiety getting bigger is doing things that will keep my mind "on earth", like pet the cat, play a phone game or watch comedy, anything the easely gets my attention so my mind is focused on those things instead of in what makes me feel bad (the bad feelings dont go away but they have less effect on me)
sorry if it's not what you asked :c , i'm trying,i hope you find a way <3

this is something I do too! what I meant is that, when you actually want to somewhat 'incorporate' the thought, you can make it acceptable, or I try to do that..
