...someone to sit beside me at all times, and give me a poke as soon as my left hand starts to move towards my hair. I don't even realise I'm doing it a lot of the time until I try and do something that needs both hands. And once I've started, it's so hard to stop...it's almost like an itch, that won't go away until I either brush my hair or relent and get my hand back to my hair again. At least I haven't been pulling out much...but I never made my two year anniversary of being pull-free, and I'm really disappointed at that.

(Sorry, just rambling and hoping someone can relate... )

I can relate!
Though I stopped pulling for awhile now, I've started again. My hair is thin already so I'm kinda afraid I'll get a bald spot but for me it's a tension reliever. I've been picking at my skin more then I used to too, mostly because I can't stand imperfections on my skin.

Thanks, Kaika! Sorry you've started again, but that's great you managed to stop for a while. I actually have pretty thick hair, so I'm quite lucky in that I need to pull out a lot before it shows, but it's the thick ones that are the problem for me, especially since they're usually the ones that have split ends. I do the skin picking thing as well sometimes, usually when I'm in front of a mirror...
