I've posted about this on here, but not on this board.
Just wondering if anyone else gets this as well

My OCD is all with germs and HIV, the last few weeks I've been thinking (well I know) that someone/some people are trying to infect me with AIDS. I seen 1 of them not long ago. So I was thinking of carrying a knife when I do have to go out, I wouldn't use it of course, but my psychologist made me promise I wouldn't.

I phoned some that works with the psychiatrist (that I haven't seen yet) and she said when I see the doctor he will give me some medication and if I still believe it after that - then I would have more proof.
I told her I phoned the police and they wanted to help, but she totally didn't believe me

I don't need medication because I need to think clearly.

Now my mam has an interview for a job and the woman is coming to our house

I hate anyone coming in the house - but she could be with them (the people trying to infect me) she could have anything with her like those little cameras or she could leave something so they can keep surveillance, like all the time.

I have like zero people believing, except on here although I think the police do a bit, everyone is telling me it's not going to happen, but they don't know for sure. I know for sure it is going to happen, just it's hard to get people to believe me.

So do you think this is OCD?
I'm 100% sure it isn't, well I know it isn't.

((((((( KUREHA ))))))))

Sounds more like you are leaning toward a psychotic illness rather than OCD alone. You hold a belief that other people would not normally share (delusion), that you are scared of being infected by AIDS to the point of paranoia and wanting to carry a knife to protect yourself.

Can't diagnose on the internet, I hope you will see a psychiatrist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. Also continue with your therapist to work on those fears.

Take care.

Thanks Pegasus

Yeah I didn't really think this was OCD - just wanted to see what other people though.

Well I see the psychiatrist this week - so I'll see what he says.
I don't really think anyone can say it isn't going to happen, because they can't know for sure, although it was pretty obvious what that woman I phoned thought.
I can trust my psychologist though

There's a weird light in the sky as well, it's like towards my house, it's not a plane or star or a UFO lol, I think maybe it's some kind of surveillance, so they can see what I'm doing.

The woman is coming tomorrow to interview my mam
I don't want her bringing her germs in my house, and I know she's going to be recording stuff and taking pictures, because no one does interviews in your own house.

Good luck with the psychiatrist, share as much as you can about your feelings and fears, and let us know how you get on.

Well the woman came yesterday - she didn't seem like she was 1 of them, but my mam said she was wearing glasses so she could have been recording things, but it didn't sound like she was with them though.

Ok it went ok today, well apart from the woman touching my jacket - I don't like being touched

Yeah so the psychiatrist - he thought it was a good idea to go to the police as well, got medication - not sure whether to take that though - don't think I need it, well I know I don't.

So I see him in 2 weeks, and he said to see someone else there and he's going to write to the early psychosis prevention team. Of course I still get to see my psychologist because she's way more awesome
