We're also getting closer to setting up the community fund drive in its own non-profit to have future donations tax-deductible. The organization is setup, but we're just waiting on a few minor details in filing the necessary paperwork with the IRS for 501(c)3 status. I'll keep you all informed when this is complete.
What a wonderful way for us to be able to have a special place here where we can donate for those "in memory of" times, whether it be a person, or a special event or even something meaningful or a breakthrough that we are thankful for in the process of out mental health treatment.

Thank you for continuing to provide ways that we can grow stronger & closer as a caring, sharing community. When we have something so wonderful that we are involved in, often we take for granted all the time & effort, the continual planning, vision, insight & caring that you put into keeping this community the wonderful place we have to come to for the support that is so important to our mental health issues we all struggle with. I am sure there is no other community online, or otherwise where there is such a diverse group of people who are able to come together & provide the caring support that happens here at PC.

It is times when emergencies like this happen that the awareness of all the caring & generous support shines out.....that caring is always there. It isn't something that only magically appears just when there is an emergency. The love & caring support in this community is something I have felt & observed all along. It is something special that PC has always had.

The community guidelines that have been very thoroughly thought through & set in place, along with the wonderful community team that works so hard at helping guide & protect the community, provides the protective structure that maintains PC's safe environment. Add to this the wonderful, community members, whose support, love, caring & understanding goes beyond anything that exists in any community that I have ever observed. Not only that, but the community looks out for each other.....watching & protecting & letting others know when a prayer or extra care is needed.

I know that the caring that you (Doc John) created this community with & the care that you have maintained it with is why we are all proud to be part of such a wonderful community & thankful to have such a wonderful place to come to where we can share our good times, our bad times, provide support & receive support when we need it.

Thank you all for your generous support of your fellow members. We're all here in this life to help one another, whether we appreciate that or not.
I think that most of us do appreciate being in this life to help each other.....know people appreciate receiving support when they are needing it, & I know that for me at least, I appreciate the good feeling that comes when someone lets me know that the support I gave was meaningful to them......I think all too many times we forget to acknowledge the support we receive that does make a difference which may then look like we do not appreciate the support. Communication is an important part of life, as the unspoken word is too easily interpreted the wrong way.

I know there is more appreciation that I am feeling than can ever possibly be expressed......& maybe there are times when we come to the point where we are in such desperate need of support when we realize just how much we do appreciate the support we take for granted otherwise.

Heartfelt gratitude to all,
Debbie

I want to thank you for your wish for strength.....the need for strength to get through situations like this important & can sometimes be lost in the middle of the struggle. The electric bill being a huge part of the problem was a part.....it's going to take strength to get through the rest of the problem.....trying to make sure exactly what is left unworking on my new heat pump system, searching for places to get the information that everyone seems to not want to provide the consumer......

Just want to thank you for your wish for strength as that is going to be my largest need after getting through the electric bill crisis....& the part of the battle now is where I am really going to need the strength......so your wish for strength is definitely appreciated.

Thank you,

Debbie

I know that Doc John will probably post the details on this Monday, but I wanted to just thank all those who mailed in funds for the fund drive......Doc John said he would be sending out another check, beyond the first one for the $500......he said it's somewhere around $125.

You all have been so wonderfully supportive.....I can't thank you enough as I have already said so many times you are probably sick of hearing it by now. The difference you have made in my life is beyond words (now that's a hard one for me who writes novels...lol). The total owed now is only $158, which is within my ability to pay at this point. How much stress you all have relieved from my life. What a wonderful loving community you all are.

My unending appreciation goes to all of you,
Thank you again,
Debbie

Dearest Eskie,

If I had known that you needed help, I would have gladly given to such a cause. I see the date stamp on these posts is over a year old so I'm hoping you are doing ok now,

Rhiannon

Ah, kind Rhiannonsmoon,

How sweet of you. thank you very much for your thoughtfulness.....yes, I am doing better, got through the huge crisis at the time. I am sure that there will be other fund raisers in the future for others who will be in need.

Thank you Lonegael,
Appreciate the support......yes, still trying to get a working heat pump which does both AC & heating.......right now, I don't have AC......grrrr, but at least I don't have the huge electric bills to deal with.

Very much appreciate the kind support.
take care,
Debbie
