I know there is a thread elsewhere on this topic, but I wanted to add this because they've announced an address for donations. This news article includes the address I have added below. It also has many links to related articles. One of the articles stated that 39% of the people of this area live below the poverty line and 80% of the children of this school qualify for the school lunch program. Coming up with the money for burials, and a memorial may be beyond their ability. If you would help out, I'm sure it would be appreciated.

P.S. I have yet to find an online donation site going directly to the Chippewa Indian's fund, but if you find a trusted site, let us know.

Thanks, Emmy for posting this. I'll try to find an online donation site on Monday. I think the editor of the local paper will know how to handle that.......xoxoxo

Thanks Emmy! It's finally time that people realize what is going on in the Reservations. I'm less than 1/8th Native American and rarely tell people that I am, people are so blind to the things that have happened and how it has caused the native american population to suffer.
