I wanted to thank everyone here at this community for all of the prayers, good wishes and support that i have been given since finding out my hubby had to have open heart surgery. He came through the surgery just fine. He had a bit of a rough time of things for the rest of the day after surgery. His right lung came close to collapsing and he had some problems coming out of the anesthesia, but he is doing wonderfully now. He is already up walking and laughing and acting just like his old self. We have been truly blessed.

All of the love and support i have gotten from people at this site has really helped me get through the rough patches. PC has always had an extraordinary group and is without a doubt the most supportive site i have ever had the privilege of belonging to. Once again, thank you all so much. You are all so very much appreciated.
Thanks for this!

((((((((((Okso & hubby)))))))),

Thank you for the wonderful update.....knowing how prayers are answered......this is wonderful news.

Glad you came to us with your need for support.....I couldn't agree with you more.....I have never seen or experienced a more wonderful supportive, loving community. Where we have a chance to give support in many ways & there is always support when we are in need ourselves.

I am so happy that your husband came through the serious surgery so well......I know the power of prayer.....& the power of all the well wishes.....add to that I am sure, the determination of your husband.

I am sure there will be even more positive updates in the future.

I wanted to pop in and give a quick update. Hubby came home yesterday and he's doing very well. He says he's sore but that doesn't seem to be stopping him. I think my biggest challenge will be keeping him from trying to do too much too soon.

We both so much appreciate everyone here and once again want to thank you all for the prayers and good wishes. They have really made a difference. It's so nice to be among such caring people.

Thank you for the update.....glad he's home & doing well. Isn't it amazing how quickly the healing comes even from major surgeries. I remember the "old days" when they would keep people in bed forever after surgeries....then they learned that healing starts quicker (in most cases) when the person gets up & moving & less scar tissue forms. Of course, we also know the power prayer has too.

I am sure you are going to have your hands full trying to keep him slowed down....you might have to keep the ropes close just in case.
Take care of yourself, & don't get hurt trying to tie him down...lol. I have noticed in the rodeo's, roping is really an art.

Thank you for the update....it is always great to hear good news.
