Are we all so inside our own thoughts and troubles that we can't see our neighbor in distress. I was calm when I came here much earlier posting about a spinal tumor in my spouse. I am no longer calm and I actually don't give a flying fruit loop as to what others think of this post. I am in pain and it is such a crappy situation and NO ONE RESPONDS! thanks a bunch all of ya.

Wisewoman,

PM me any time you like, and when I am able to get here I will respond. I am overwhelmed with all the posts on the General forum, and don't even come in here every day. I'm sorry for that. I wish I could do better. I am sorry about your husband's tumor. I haven't found that post yet. That really doesn't sound good though. What can I do to help?

Wise, I wanted to add that I sometimes don't manage to look in the forums. It's overwhelming, so I kind of hit or miss. I can't find your post, either. Can you tell us where it is?

Jan

My friend from work, who's a cancer survivor, her sister has cancer - breasts, knee, ankle, spine, lung, etc.

I'll be praying for you and your family. Sorry.

Here is her earlier post. I refrain from further comment due to an assortment of reasons:

Okay, Fury's post made me laugh so that's a good sign. The MRI this morning indeed showed a mass on c5, c6 and it has to be removed asap as it is pressing on the spinal column. MRIs can't tell us if it's in the myelin wall around the spinal cord or outside. Also we can't tell if it's entangled in the cord it'self. So, statistics are with us here. He is a healthy man with a great attitude. At least now we know what the deal is and we can have a plan. I have questions about the logistics of it all but hey, it will happen one way or another. So, I will try to keep the crap on the stick instead of hitting the fan as fury said, and I will try to be positive. Thanks to ya all for your loving support.

I am sorry I did not see the post earlier either.

There is nothing wrong in expressing your feelings and needs. You were hurt and scared and vented. I think this is a good thing.

I am so hoping that all turns out well for you and your hubby. My thoughts are with you.

Take care.

Hello Wisewoman --

I'm glad your expressed your feelings of abandonment. That is a harsh diagnosis to cope with. I am so sorry.

I didn't respond because often, if I respond once to a thread, I do not keep going to back it, esp. if there is a lot of back and forth talk betw. just a few members that, imo, might be taken to PM. I so sorry that you were hurt.
