My neighbor told me this morn he looked out his window and two guys parked a few houses down the street, and one stood by his car, and the other walked over to my car (that was parked in the street) and wrote down my plate number. What the heck I wish I was awake I would have gone outside and asked them what the hell they were doing! No I havent done anything bad, no hit and runs, no accidents all my life, the car had a clean title, i paid for it in cash 6 years ago, so its not like it can be reposessed, there is absolutly no reason anyone should be writing down my plate number. I know within 15 miles or so from where I live there are only two other cars that look like mine (white with red racing striped) its a 3rd gen camaro, especially that combination of colors. I am frustrated and mad because thats the only info I got out of my neighbor. Im flippin!!!

My neighbor is a really safe place, and I wouldn't suspect they would want it for parts, besides for the 305 motor, the body is rusted to crap. Bizarre I say!

Wow, that would freak me out a bit too. Yeah, it might not be a bad idea to report it to the police. I hope it all works out.

Well I have more bad news. I need to replace my thermostat on my car and i got down the street and it was going to overheat so i parked it at a restaurant parking lot, and hubby took me to work on his crotch rocket. Well I always leave my car unlocked because my door lock key got so warn down it wouldnt open the door, and when i had them try and duplicate the key at the dealership, they didnt have templates that far back and tried to cut a new one and it still wouldnt work. Ive never had a problem with people going into my car even though i never lock it. Well we come to pick up the car after i get off at 11pm, and the radio is gone. My husband was mad, me, i really wasnt effected. Maybe it was shock, or maybe it was because the radio came from my other camaro so i didnt pay anything for the radio. The only thing I am p.o.ed about is the people looking at my plate. I will go to the station tomorrow and see what they can do for me. I know like 10 officers in my city, so this is a good thing.

Sometimes if there is a police officer in your neighborhood they'll run your plates if your bored. This happened to us out west. The next time hubby was driving the Mustang, he was pulled over by our neighborhood police officer wondering why the tags were registered to an mini-van. Probably because the plates for the mustang are on the mini-van. duh, they both came in the mail the same day.

You know I have been paranoid about the plate thing, and everytime a car drives by, I am so ready to run out there and cause a rukkas to anyone that wants to hurt my beautiful rust bucket!

What the heck?!?! Yea Bali >> when a thief scopes out something It is usually for another reason >> If the radio was factory ??? mmmmmmmm???

And thermostat thingy >>> Maybe a cut Radiator hose >> So they could figure a park place and then come by and act like mechanics.

Anyway Take your passenger door lock assembly >> switch it to the drivers side >>> and replace the passenger door lock with a new one >> IDK >>> but passenger door lock gets less use. and easier to Duplicate . Good Locksmith can do it ....>>> What the heck?!?!

No the radio was not factory, it was one that was bought for my other camaro, and once i sold that one i took that radio and put it in the white one. And that was a good thought about the thermostat, but that was actually a known problem for awhile. My radiator fan has not worked since 2005, and if i let it overheat really really bad i will fry my thermostat shut. There was no doubt that was my own fault.

Update: I sold the white camaro and got a blue one, the blue one has a $200 dollar alarm so I am not worried anymore. Now I guess I dare someone to mess with it. Nomore weird people, etc. so maybe when someone saw the tow truck park it in front of my house they wanted to complain about it sitting there but o well all is good now.

as long as you aren't breaking any laws, just let them follow you until they decide to go away, but make sure you are always SAFE, & keep your cell phone, or whatever you call mobys in the USA, beside you

What the heck?!?! What the heck?!?! What the heck?!?! What the heck?!?! our paranoia is showing What the heck?!?! What the heck?!?! What the heck?!?! What the heck?!?!
