hi, i've been having this one dream for about a month now... and i can't seem to shake it out of my head... ive tried everything to get my mind off it when i sleep but it still comes, im really scared because its really gory and really intense... its like a weeks worth of time in one dream too so it lasts all night with different but same situations and actions... does anyone else have this problem... i mean im losing sleep over this stupid dream... can you get rid of it?

I've had dreams like this. I still do from time to time. I had discussed my really gorey dreams with my T and since I have, and made some sense of them I don't get them as often. It may help you too.

I agree that talking it out with your T and trying to make sense of it can help. I've had a lot of repeating dreams in my time but found that if I can gain control over the dream with a simple action of flying I usually stop repeating the dream. But that's my trigger to stop them, maybe you have something you can use too. If you gain some sort of control then you'll have more power over your dreams.
