i hope i'm putting this in the right section. i saw a very odd but very moving film today. it was called Tarnation and it's a film made from home cinema about a guy whose mother has psych troubles - it charts their life based around her taking a lithium overdose. it is a really odd film, in that it's made from stills and so on, so it's quite hard to watch, but it is good, if you can kind of get used to the style.

er.. no it's in the cinema here at the moment, although my brother (a film student) saw it a few months ago, also in london. it's on general release now - but that means it was probably out a little while back in the US, maybe about 3 months? i don't know whether it's out to rent yet there. i have a link to the imdb info on it, if you'd like to pm me i can send it to you strange but good film
