I have 2 weeks sober today. I've made it through something stressful at work, then my grandma being in the hospital (getting out today), a huge concert last night, and now today being Mother's Day. My old routine for Mother's Day and my mom's birthday was to go shoot pool and get drunk and have a stawberry dacqueri for her. I sang in a concert last night as part of alumni choir for the girls chorus here. The director was retiring after 20 years. The she picked for us to sing on our own was "Sometimes I feel like a motherless child". How fitting! It was emotional, but it was good. Hung out with girls I hadn't seen in over 10 years! Some of us are getting together Friday for karaoke. But I haven't had the urge to drink, so I'm doing well!!! Yay!

Do you download music ozzie? i wonder if there's a recording online somewhere...hmmm. I have a recording on the disk they sent us to learn the songs, but it's not very high quality, but if you want, I can see if I can get it off the cd and send it to you!

It's so funny, I went to my old liquor store Friday for smokes because I really like the owner, and I told him I quit drinking and he was like "Alright!" Just funny to hear from the owner of a liquor store that he lost a buyer of alcohol!
