I buried my father yesterday. The Marine Corps showed him great honor by flying in six marines, as well as the VFW attending. It was a service he would have been so proud of. I'm happy that I was able to do that for him. Hubby said it was like something from TV.

Anyhow, I hope to be back full swing soon. I want to thank EVERYONE for their love, thoughts, wishes and condolences. I love you all. I'm blessed to have you all.

love,

kd

I want to extend my condolances to you for the loss of your father. Losing a loved one is very difficult. I lost my grandmother in November of 2004 and my Uncle in March of 2004. It had quite and impact on me physically and definitly mentally. So much swirling around in your mind it's just a very difficult thing to deal with. I am pleased that he received the burial you know he would have wanted. That is very important.

I am glad that your back and look forward to "hangin" with ya on the forums and in chat. Remember, we are here for ya always for anything you need. Take care KD. Much Love!!!

Those marines really know how to do cermonies. They are a very proud group, especially in those dress blues. I'm glad you've been comforted in knowing the service was just as he would have wanted.

I hope you are doing ok with all this stress. Please take care of yourself. I am sending you warm hugs.

Dearest Kimmy,

I am very sorry for the loss of your father. A military funeral is one of honor and, yes, glory. Rest now and recouperate knowing this is your time of healing.

Come back when you're ready and know that all of us here love you.

Many, many hugs,

Jan

Kimmydawn,

I am so sorry to hear that your father died. It is a rough time to go through...My mother died this last January & I realize what you are going through. It is wonderful that you could arrange a funeral that horoned him so much...it is something your family & his friends will always remember.

Please take care of yourself, & take the time you need to get through everything.

Debbie
