After being here almost a year, I've come to a conclusion about some of the posts that we've been having here recently. People are upset that "this and that", that can't be taken care of here. And the "this and that" ranges from cursing, inappropriate posting subjects, religion versus no religion, politics, etc. etc.

Folks, this is not a "one size fits all" site. The guidelines set out, very clearly, what this site is for. It is for SUPPORT. It was set up for support for people who have mental health problems.

There is a lovely business that goes on, on the side. It is the business of exchanging information about all kinds of different things. Where to buy self-help books, where to party in Hoboken, where the best barbecue is in Austin, what makes a really good hummus, where to buy a really good mandolin, etc. etc. I really appreciate that added bonus here.

But for the folks who come in here, after they didn't read the guidelines, and make some snarky statement about what the site doesn't do for them, go back and read the guidelines. Please.

Sincerely, Pat and the Gang
