Anyway, I checked back with the person renting it and she refused because she REQUIRES a good credit check. But that is fine. Just the thought and seeing a place gave me more hope and inspiration! Plus, it also means that now I can do the *Right* thing and focus on catching up on paying my car insurance and what I owe ComEd from my last apartment, so that when I eventually do get a new one, they won't be mad at me for starting out with the apartment with a balance owed. With going over numbers so much and budget planning on Sunday, I was able to come up with a few possibilities on how to work these bills in the meantime--I got really involved with it and think I have a good plan.
