...I posted like maybe 5 times on another forum. I haven't posted there for several days. Tonight, I tried to log in and it said my account there was suspended- with NO NOTICE!

I don't even know why or what I did wrong.

So I've been sitting here feeling like a nervous wreck and a bad person. I know this is transference- old "bad child" feelings comeing up, and I've been working in therapy on identifying when it happens. But I still feel so bad Knowing what it is doesn't fix it. I just want to know why I got "suspended"

I can relate to this completely. One time our internet shut us off for a week or so and i came back and the board i always posted on, i was banned. I wasnt even around to do anything wrong. Turns out what happened was i stole my avatar from a webpage and the person changed the picture but kept the url the same and i was showing x rated stuff as my avatar. Learned my lesson not to take the avatar without permission and the admin at the site once i explained laughed and unbanned me. Hopefully its a much less emberassing version of that.

I'm wish this hadn't happened to you. Perhaps it's something simple and you can pm the administrator about it. You are very reponsible person, so I don't think you did anything horribly wrong to cause your banishment by the site admin. It would be upsetting to anyone, much less someone with transference issues.

I hope you get to the bottom of this mystery and feel better soon.

I too suffer severely from transference and I take everything so personally....so glad that did not happen to me but my HEART goes out to you that it happened to you ....please PM one of the moderator and talk to them and tell them what happen I am SURE they can clear it up.....and they can MAKE sure it DOES NOT happen again to another person who suffers from transference issues.... to bring this to the moderators attention... and it is NOT STUPID.....they are your feelings and they ARE REAL and that is NOT STUPID...

Sometimes some sites close down members' accounts if they have been inactive for a certain amount of time. Perhaps it is something like that.

I'm sorry this happened! That's a really stinky feeling. Let us know what you find out about the WHY? Could be just a screw up on their part.

And yes, insight is wonderous...but, d'oh, then what? I totally understand that one!!!

Awww {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Angela}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} No doubt it was a glich or a mistake somewhere! I can't think of a thing you could do that would get you banned ANYWHERE! You sure wouldn't be a moderator here if you were prone to making mistakes that would get you banned, that's for sure!! It JUST HAS to be a glich! It's not something you did.

The same append with me, all I have to do was rerestister and then put a different usernam in! When I was new here, I broke so many rules with out knowing it. Then happend to read the guideline because I was so bored. But its not your fault sometimes stuff like that happens......

I've had a thought - perhaps you've just used the wrong password? Today I thought my account at a forum had been stopped since I was certain I was putting in the right password, but it turned out I was entering an incorrect password ... perhaps it is something as simple as that. Whatever it is, I hope you manage to sort it out. Perhaps you could take Miss_A's suggestion and just re-register!

That hurts when that happens, even when you did nothing wrong. A message board I used to belong to kept having roll calls to weed out all the people who weren't actively participating and who might be spammers. I posted enough that they knew who I was, and had responded to past roll calls, but they had another roll call and I was 2 hours late responding, and I had been deleted. It's hard to join that group too - takes forever to get added, and there are often glitches with adding new members. So I figured that if I was too overwhelmed with life (was over a year ago right when I was very stressed trying to get things done for classes), and if they didn't care enough to leave me as a member when I had told them less than a month previous that I still wanted to be, then maybe I didn't belong there anyway. There's another group I belong to that has a lot of the same members and they are continually posting to the other group about the group that deleted me being where all the action is and everybody should join over there, and my rotten attitude pops up and reminds me about being rejected every time I see one of those messages. GRRR. And I guess I could get back on if I wanted to, but I just feel like it isn't worth it.

Have you asked someone why you got suspended? I bet it's a simple misunderstanding and you could get back on if you want to. However it works out with that forum, I know that you are a good person, and I hope that you can remember that you are a good person too.

Not stupid. I would wait a few days and then go back. If it still won't let you back in, try rejoining and sending the admin a note for information.
