WarmSeptemberSun,

I'm assuming you are young in age.

Your question of Nucking asking if you did something wrong is what I'm here to address.

There are lesbians, gays and transgendered people on this site. Also, the friends and relatives of them, too. I hope you can imagine how your words, although honestly stated on your part, may have hurt some people's feelings

Thank you for listening.

I am so so sorry and ashamed. I never meant to hurt anyone. I'm going to close this thread now.

No need to feel ashamed! You meant no harm, it was your moment to learn. That's something to be proud, of no matter what.

May I suggest you use a Private Message to smooth out any other hard feelings that may be around. Just my humble opinion...

Also, remember that although they can be quite mature in social situations, especially one on one, the cognitive processing is really slow and immature with these folks. they do have a tendency to get very inflexible if they feel threatened, because they just don't have the ability to handle unpredictable situations. if it was safe, letting her have space to collect herself was OK, I would not have done it if it was in a big mall inLA, for example. and I don't know how old she is, so I can't say there either.
It's rough to balance having respect for such people as adults, and respecting their limitations at the same time. Good luck.
