Has anyone gotten it together in their late 40's? Like getting over depression and moving past it ? I long for happier days. I am in school too and still need to pick a career plan at 47. And I am single still. Come on, there has to be someone that can give me hope...
Thanks for this!

I am fifty-one y/o now and the past couple of years have been much better with regard to my mental illness. For a long, long time I did not know if I could ever improve or how to get there if I could. I wish you well on your journey.

For me it hasn't been the destination so much any more, but the journey along the way, the ppl, sharing life experiences w/ them & treasured moments.

Believe, Imagine,

I am 45 and getting it together too, studying like Junerain and yourself and in recovery and finally getting the proper treatment for my illness, so I am hopeful and optimistic. But as Holmes says its the journey and not the destination that is the most interesting and it is so true, I have come a long way but I have a long way to go yet, which is in a way exciting to me as one thing I have learnt in life is how transient it is, nothing remains the same. Good luck with everything, I wish you the best.
