I'm just really sad and tired today. I am working on an exciting project that pays well and it looks like the project will be extended. All good news, so you'd think I'd be feeling pretty good but what is eating me up inside is the uncertainty of our financial future. The next few months look promising but what then? I should be grateful that I have some income in the near term but the reality is that we also have a lot of debt. I am hoping to accumulate enough cash over the next few months to be in a position to negotiate with the credit card companies to settle all our credit card debt. There is also a possibility we might file for bankruptcy, although I want to try to avoid this. There is also the possibility that we may lose our home.

The consulting project I am working on is at a big company. I see all these people with full-time jobs and I feel inferior. My partner in the project is doing well financially. And I feel inferior. I came on here last night and said I was going to try to do an experiment about focusing on the positive. I feel so physically and mentally tired today that it's difficult for me to have a positive perspective. I think I'll go to bed earlier tonight and bounce back tomorrow. I may also have allergies, which makes me feel lousy as well as making it difficult to think. I think I'm going to bed now...

I hope tomorrow is better for you as I know how worry over ones future can ware a person down until they have nothing left to give.

P.S.
Did you know that STRESS can make ALLERGIES worse?
... now you have another reason to relax.
Thanks for this!

Renovation,

Welcome! And don't worry about tommorrow until it gets here. As a sufferer of Major Depression and Major Anxiety, I know that if I focus any attention on the future, I end up sacked! I just can't do it. Try focusing on the here and now. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everyone. I got a good night's sleep and took some allergy medication, which helped with the fatigue. I am going to try to take it one day at a time and not get too caught up in the future. I know what I need to do tomorrow, so that's where I'll focus my attention. Have a lot on my plate.

I have a few important meetings tomorrow. I am going to keep my cool and be positive and upbeat.I will act confident but with authenticity. I don't give myself enough credit sometimes. I am going to psyche myself up to be in great spirits.

Will let you know how it goes...

Had a great meeting today. I just focused on today. Went into the meeting with a lot of confidence and in good spirits and had a great meeting. Rather than feeling inferior, I just felt good about myself and my capabilities and focused on putting out good energy. Got very good feedback after the meeting, so felt very good about today.
