username has changed

IndieSoul is now just plain Indie. I decided I needed a change, but I liked my username in the first place so I kept part of it. Just to let you guys know..

haha, thanks I'm always very picky about names, so it might change again...be on the lookout! I want something that says growth or change, but I can't think of anything at the moment.

Which way do you like better?

I'd vote (if you let me, that is!) for doing it the other way around: just keep demonstrating growth and change until people can't think "Indie" without thinking of growth and change.

I think I've decided to go with Indie, inspired. I wasn't sure at first because both of the words start with "in", but I figure I'm not going to get any better What do you think? Girl, Interrupted is one of my favorite movies, so it's kind of in the spirit of that.

I'm rather fond of fleshing out and waxing myself, maybe it's time for my own name change...or not...

Anything you pick will be perfectly Indie. Hey... there's one for you. Perfectly Indie. lol. I do like Indie Inspired to. That is inspirational. I like just Indie too.

When you think about it though... the shorter the better. It makes it easier for those responding to posts unless there is an obvious way to shorten it posters are typing in long names. The Byzantine comes to mind.... we all call him Byz. I think many would like to respond to me with SS but might thing Nazi German and go for the full Sanityseeker instead. Just a thought.

If that were my username (not the Indie part, obviously!) I think it might feel like a burden to me on days when I woke up feeling less than inspired. I'd probably hesitate to post for fear of not living up to my own advertising.

One great advantage of calling myself a Fool is that I never have to worry about stuff like that.
