GREAT NEWS!!!!!

wooo hooooo i love decorating!!!! i decorate almost every room in my house for christmas.... lol

It seems to be a GO! All I need to do is take in some paperwork to the Admin of Housing and I'll be moving into an almost new but completely rehabed mobile just down the street from where I am now. Hate to lose my corner lot, but it will get me away from %#@&#! For Brains across the street.

You're not going to believe this!!! Ya'll remember me telling you about my Mentally Challenged neighbor that used to call me "Grandma"? Oh, GAWD, help me, but it's their mobile!! (they moved to Colorado) I really didn't want to move in that one but if I take it, I'll be moving in two weeks!! It's so much bigger than this one and it WILL be like factory new!!

Had a go-round with my oldest son because he had to come across with some paper work and has to put in writing that he agrees that this mobile will be demolished. LORD WHAT A BATTLE!!! GEEEEEEZ! Did I create that monster?? I'm torn between being pissed at him and being hurt. He told me that the paperwork I needed wasn't top on his list of priorities. Really made me feel LOVED! All he cared about was that "his investment" wouldn't be demolished but has he been over to see how badly his investement is going? Hell no!! The fact that I'm willing the new mobile to him to do as he pleases with it never sunk through his skull. If it wasn't for my grandsons and my favorite DIL, I'd tell him to go to Hell! Truly, he's a son of a @$%&*@#!! Just like his dad! No! Not Jerry! My ex! He's a son of a $%#&@! Guess I'm angry, eh?

Anyway, I'll know for absolute sure tomorrow if the deal goes through. I got the okay on the phone earlier. Not going to believe it till they tell me it's mine and I can start moving in.

LOL So was this really an update... or not? ARGH!

I'm still ranting and on the rampage with my oldest son!! Sleeping didn't help any. Today will be another battle extracting the only proof I have to submit to Housing. His Majesty, King David has better things to do than to help out his own mother! Help? Hell! To do a very simple task!

I kinda cracked Jerry up yesterday when I was at the highth of my anger. The cuss words didn't appear in the post so I'm clarifying them here:

$%#&@! = the female dog

You notice I didn't call his mother the female dog, right? LOL I'm sorry, but he really is just like his father! If he hasn't taken the time to slow down and LISTEN to what I'm saying, he starts with his accusations and blowing himself up and at the same time putting me down. No doubt his precious wife goes through the same thing! "The sins of the father are visited on the sons" for generations! SIGH!!

I'm tempted to say "I don't believe this!!" but I do. It's the story of my life. LOL It's always WWIII when something like this comes up for me, like getting something I desperately need.

Did I already tell you that Jerry had to talk to David last night ... yeah, I did. Well, David didn't email me all the PDF files he'd promised; just the one that said he'd given me the mobile outright. So of course, I had to call him plus send him an email. He's still not answering my phone calls, and now he's caught on to Jerry's phone number. He doesn't answer that, either. Ok! We know he's terribly busy, but GEEEZ, no time for the one who put him on this earth?? I've been so tempted to tell him just that! "I brought you in, Kid, I can take you out!" However, that wouldn't get me what I need. By this point, NOTHING got me what I needed from him. That's nothing. Because of David, I had to face the Wicked Witch of the West (the so called manager of this park). Naturally, all I got was a good dressing down, cut and quartered! ...but you should see how SHE looks! I just lost it, plain and simple. Jerry had to pull me out of there kicking and screaming. She denied every request I made including a copy of the rent receipt to prove residency. "David has it" was her pat answer. Of course, David isn't willing to put out the effort. We had to go to the bank to prove that my checking account is SS because David would not print out the account info from his computer. I let Jerry take care of it and we had good results.

So, by this time, I've had a fight with David and I've had a fight with the Wicked Witch. My blood pressure is through the roof. Finally, after having lost some of the papers I had and had to come home and reprint them, we got to the Housing Dept. I met Connie, the Admin!! She's a jovial rolly polly just like me!!! That's not all. When she'd finished going through my "documentation," she said "I don't know who you've been praying to but this case is just flying through! "

BUT!! Seems none of the old ladies that have owned this tin can have registered ownership with DMV. LOL It's funny, but it's not. It just might hang me up a bit. She said she could walk the app through, but when she does that, the board really scrutinizes the case. Maybe it's better if we just wait for the meeting on... (argh) August 17. They won't even start work on the mobile until then because funding won't be available until I get approved. sigh! I'm dying to go over and start spraying all the weeds, already!!! Eh! Maybe they'll clean out the lot. sigh.

Anyway... Connie, the Amin told me she saw the pics of my yard. She said it should appear in Better Homes and Gardens! LOL I told her that the backdrop was all wrong and that I just may enter a pic when I'm in my new home. She said "If you don't, I won't understand why." LOL I turned around and beamed at Jerry because it's mostly his doing. He hadn't heard. ARGH Awww well... let them think it's all MY doing! I'll take the credit!

So there you have it for today. Now it's just the ole waiting game. GAWD! Lord help me!

Hey great going girl! Can we come and sleep over when it's done? Big ole party with tons of junk food. Who makes good fudge? Can't wait!

There was a Christmas Party in the works but things are going so fast, we're gonna have to move the party up! LOL

I'll make the tamales and the cheesecakes! Never made fudge, so I'll leave that to someone else. OMG! Just typing that gave me indigestion! LOL
