I guess that i will start by saying ..after 7 yrs this past June i was laid off from my job..I carried the health ins for our family..of course now i have none..also i was offered another job within another school district which was half the pay i made..needless to say because i refused the job ..it has caused my unemployment benefits to be held up.they have to review it to see if i had good cause to refuse..my husband has just had surgery.so he is not giving me my full child support...so yes at the time i am having money woes...

The best part of all this....Yesterday,i recieve a letter from my pdoc..it stated that no further appts can be made without payment in full...Talk about totally feeing abandoned...here i have been worrying about paying for meds i NEED..now this letter....i cant even describe the feeling i have right now...yesterday i tried to make light of it..today i feel despair and total abandoment.....

Sherry, the office managers send those letters out. Write your own letter about being laid off and no unemployment as well as the ex-with no child support. Suggest a reasonable price you can pay monthy to continue your appointments and keep yourself well. Sorry about the bad luck.

Sherry, what wisewoman just said is true, and to give it a try would be a good idea, can't hurt. I hope a solution comes to you soon, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and you in my thoughts/prayers. Many good wishes to you, for luck, strength, and healing.
Please take care,
DE

That's a good idea, eliminating or decreasing the amount of "phone tag", which is agitating (to me it is, I don't like that game, tag) tell his receptionist it is important he or she returns your call, no matter what time it is. You are not obligated to divulge waht you want to say to him by the receptionist, if she tries to "screen" your call, you can tell her it is confidential as well as important.
Good replies I see here letter from pdoc
Lots of luck with this.
Take care,
DE

Try calling and talking to your pdoc personally. That way, you might still be able to see him. He may not even be aware of the letter.

I am so sorry you are going through such horrible times. Please know we are here for you and that we all care.

Many, many hugs,

Jan
