Four days ago I smoked some marijuana with my friend and I deeply regret it. I have that wierd disconnected feeling like i have a head cold but without any of the other symptoms. I get a little dizzy and light headed when I bend down for a while, and I have little appetite. I have only smoked pot a very few number of times before and I have never felt anything like this. Does anyone know what I'm experiencing? When will I be back to normal?

Thanks

i doubt that the pot is still affecting you. four days and it should be out of your "system".....unless, of course, you smoked an ungodly amount....then, i don't know how long it would stay. but a joint or two would be gone. pat

hi john and welcome. i seriously doubt that smoking some four days ago is still affecting you. it sounds like something else is going on.

what you're doing, i do when i have a pretty bad sinus infection. although, it could be a number of things.

be safe and gl!

Smoking pot has been known to trigger depersonalization disorder, but I'm not really sure if that's what your describing.

Although it was a very bad, intense high, I certainly dont think that depersonalization disorder is it. What im feeling is very difficult to describe. Its almost like ive been hit over the head or something; a slight dizzyness and split-second delay in my eyes refocusing.

John,
Sounds to me like you smoked some treated weed.
Back in the day when I was a teenager lots of kids treated pot by spraying it with Raid and other things because they thought it gave you a bigger high. All it gave you though was some bad lung and sinus problems and the symptoms you describe.
It probably will wear off but is a good lesson in why NOT to get high. You never know what you're getting.

Be well

Could also be that you have developed an allergy to it.

I am going to agree with Twinks on this one.. it sounds like they treated it with something else..

Maybe even tweaked it with some other drug..

hence why dong this kinda of thing is illeagel in most states..

I would just be careful and drink lots of water to try and flush it out of your system.. I have heard de-tox tea will help with the effects you are having.. Try buying some of that at your local drug store..

I am not saying what you did is right, but just trying to help ok.

I was young once too. Big mistake

Thankyou for the support everyone. I really dont think the pot was laced or treated with anything. I work with one of the guys i smoked with and he is fine. I will find out from him if the other ppl who we shared the joint with are ok too. It might be that the marijuana was simply too stong for me, and that i took too many hits. (I can count on one hand the number of times i have smoked) In either case, that was the last time i will ever smoke pot.
