I made a few posts last night, in response to another poster...and today I noticed they have all been deleted!

Is this a common practice of this board? I would have appreciated being notified by the moderators as to why my posts were deleted. I didn't think there was anything objectionable in them.

broken wing,

the threads (originating from another poster) were moved. they weren't within community guidelines for the safety of the board. unfortunately, any responses are moved as well. if you read the community guidelines you'll understand that these posts were not within the same.

i wasn't required to notify each poster, and i'm sorry that you were confused that your posts were gone. if i remember correctly, your responses were good ones. the basis of the entire thread, though, was against guidelines.

if you have further administration issues, please don't hesitate to pm me about them. Board Censorship?

have a great one,

kd

I have heard of it happening. Maybe they should tell why they were deleted though or maybe the post was moved

I understand now, and the reasoning behind why the threads/posts were deleted make sense. Thanks for the explanation!

Hello. I am still relatively new to the Community. Could you please explain what triggers are? This is the first time I have heard of this. I certainly would not want to upset anyone with a post. Thanks!

that's a very good question, dottie, and thank you for being considerate and asking it!

triggering posts can contain detail regarding any type of abuse and languages associated with abuse. they can also contact depicting self injury, nightmares, etc. basically triggering information is anything that might upset.

thanks!

A trigger is a certain thing that upsets someone. It could be anything from that person's past. It's mere mention greatly upsets him/her.

I hope this helps!
